FWD General Insurance rebrands to bolttech Insurance
Hong Kong, 23 June 2023 – FWD General Insurance is excited to announce it has rebranded to bolttech Insurance by the end of June 2023, following the recent change of company name from FWD General Insurance Company Limited to Bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited (“bolttech Insurance”).
Hong Kong, 23 June 2023 – FWD General Insurance is excited to announce it has rebranded to bolttech Insurance by the end of June 2023, following the recent change of company name from FWD General Insurance Company Limited to Bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited (“bolttech Insurance”).
The renaming is to continue the business’ streamlining process and has no legal or material impact on agreements servicing policy holders, customers and business partners. The level of protection, benefits and all terms and conditions of the existing policies will remain unchanged.
bolttech has owned and operated the general insurance company since late 2020. Following the rebrand at the end of June 2023, bolttech Group and FWD Group remain affiliated companies as part of Pacific Century Group. FWD and bolttech Insurance will continue to strengthen their respective insurance expertise and facilitates an even smoother and more efficient insurance journey for customers in Hong Kong.

The rebrand will add to bolttech’s existing presence as an international insurtech with innovative device protection and embedded insurance offerings in Hong Kong.
